Meta has launched Muse, an image-generation model integrated into Meta AI. It handles photo restoration, style transforms (Renaissance portraits, claymation), room restyling, product photography, and surreal edits from personal photos.
Muse may not top the image-model leaderboards. It does not need to. It ships inside apps that billions of people already open every day.
Distribution beats novelty. Muse is not the best image model — it is the one inside the app three billion people already use. For operators, that is the whole commerce lesson: own the surface, and “good enough” wins the market.
