The voice AI startup already has more than 8 million users and $21 million in annual recurring revenue, a rare traction profile for a seed round.
Fish Audio closed a $52 million seed round to build out its AI voice models for creators and enterprises, backing a company that's grown to more than 8 million users across its open source and hosted offerings since launching last year. The $21 million ARR figure is unusually strong for a company still at the seed stage.
The raise puts Fish Audio in direct competition for enterprise voice workloads as demand for dictation, dubbing, and synthetic voice tools accelerates across media and customer-facing products.
Investors are rewarding proven revenue traction over pure model hype, a signal that the voice AI vertical is maturing into a real commerce category rather than a demo. Founders in adjacent categories should take note: distribution and ARR now matter more than benchmark scores when raising capital.
